Volunteers

The TOKYO ART JUNGLE GREEN MAP PROJECT became a reality thanks to a great deal of effort by the 40+ enthusiastic, talented volunteers on our staff. They created everything - from the fieldwork procedure to the colorful exhibitions.

The TOKYO ART JUNGLE GREEN MAP PROJECT office was always busy, filled with a good number of people. Sometimes there were as many as twenty in the tiny backroom at 2dk - even on Sundays! In the morning, the staff carried out the fieldwork and at night, they inputed the fieldwork data in the office's computers. But project participants seemed to enjoy this routine.

As the exhibition date approached, the preparations became very intense. Everyone contributed: If someone could draw, they illustrated billboards. If someone could do the programming, they worked on this website. If someone enjoyed caring for kids, they did fieldwork with elementary school kids (some of the staff even baked Green Map Icon-shaped cookies!). One fieldwork maniac collected 150 spots!
