Located in Harajuku, the bustling center
of Tokyo's youth culture. The exhibition was held at TN
Probe, on the fifth floor of Hanae Mori building, designed
by Kenzo Tange, which stands right in front of the Metro
exit of the Omotesando station. (The live event on the
22nd was held at SuperDeluxe.)

| TN Probe is run by Obayashi Corporation
and was established to become a forum for discussions
and exploration of architecture and the city in the context
of relevant issues. Started in 1995 and moved from Roppongi
to Hanae Mori Bldg. 5F in Omotesando in January 2001,
it has two adjoining spaces called the "Gallery"
and "Community Cafe"; these are used for its
various activities. TN Probe has been exploring various
architectural trends and perspectives for the city's future,
with new themes that transcend conventional disciplinary
boundaries. |
