| p[k] discovers sensitive yet violent aesthetics
in the "bugs" which evevntually born by sending
flood of high-texture data to our daily tools such as
monitors and speakers. They extoll the invaders to the
accurate replay system with fast deploying visions. Their
images and sound themselves are the challenge to the limit
of people's visual and audio perception, and machines
like G4 and projectors, speakers. (including new works)

[k]ommunity is a music / visual creator
unit started in autumn of 2000 by essentially two members.
Using the programming environment of MaxMSP/nato0+55 on
various PowerbookG4s, they build, intersect and developsounds
and images in real time. Apart from being a live performer,
[k]ommunity is also a lecturer of nato0+55 and max (http://ansermet.ad.kyushu-id.ac.jp/~freq/index.shtml)
at various institutions, including the digital workshop
hosted by Salon magazine (http://www.salon-magazine.net/)
and the universities; a writer for magazines (http://www.net-flyer.com/edit/2001/06/special.html);
member of Luminous, an improvisational performance group
which uses the latest DSP effect, staying physical with
e~da (a.k.a. AOA, ex Bordoms). [k]ommunity is also a developer
of software which controls the sound/lighting system for
the space design of apparel shops. As VJ, [k]ommunity
collaborated with DJ Kensei, hoon (Ryuichi Sakamoto +
Yoshihiro Hanno + yasaka), Haruomi Hosono and more.
